OLAP (Online Analytical Processing) introduces an additional dimension to the EIS. EIS data is exported into an OLAP format and displayed on screen in a grid, the user is able to further manipulate the data with the ability to add and remove data columns, expand detail or summarise information, sort and traffic light results.
