The Norwel Document Management tool offers you the ability to create and manage documents quickly and efficiently.
Norwel’s Document Management tool works together with Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Outlook/GroupWise and Word in order to enhance functionality for your organisation. Email Management In addition to email drag and drop filing, additional tools allow practices to monitor and control email. The system can be set to require fee earners to submit emails etc to supervisory Partners before dispatch, with audit trails of approval being provided.
Using Prescient+, you can maintain more than one version of a document on a matter. A history of different versions is built up, with the last document defaulting to the ‘active’ document. Multiple versions of a document are denoted by the Microsoft Word icon in the Document Register.
Compare Documents Feature
The module searches e-mails, web documents, spreadsheets, Word documents and PDFs. It also searches in other key areas such as the document properties, and key database fields (such as Matter Description or Client Name). Each retrieved document is listed and the search results can be filtered further by selecting or de-selecting entries from the tree view on the left, or searching on the selected list for additional words/phrases. |
