Lincolnshire County Council Chooses Norwel
Norwel Computer Services Ltd is celebrating winning a contract with Lincolnshire Legal Services to supply a Time Recording and Matter Management system.
In need of high standards and a professional Case and Time Management system, Norwel took the opportunity to showcase why they were the best supplier for the service.
Lincolnshire Legal Services is a shared legal service established by six local authorities in Lincolnshire.
The six local authorities are;
- Boston Borough Council,
- East Lindsey District Council
- Lincolnshire County Council
- North Kesteven District Council
- South Holland District Council
- West Lindsey District Council
The County Council acts as a host by providing services to the above councils as well as various other public services . Lincolnshire Legal Services’s main objectives were to find a legal case and time management system that would operate across the County’s numerous sites. They also wanted the system to be efficient, valuable and easy to use for all fee earners, providing “better ways of working”. Fortunately for Norwel – these objectives were seen as being easily achievable.
Lincolnshire Legal Services have ordered the Prescient system. Prescient was launched in 2007 and provides the fee earner with a complete electronic case file accessed from a single screen. Prescient was chosen as the best available software on the market to meet their needs. It includes Matter Management, Case Workflow, Document Management, Outlook integration with email supervision, multiple time recording methods and full search facilities including contacts, matters and financials.
Working alongside Lincolnshire County Council’s strategic partners Mouchel, Norwel is rolling out 95 users of the matter management module. Norwel will also provide training and support to users throughout Lincolnshire Legal Services.
