Norwel Automated Processing

Designed to remove the paperchase involved in requesting bank transactions, authorised requisitions are processed online and updated electronically.

Requests are controlled by practice-defined limits. When a transaction breaches the limits set for a fee earner the authorisation process is invoked. Requisitions are submitted to be authorised and timed reminders pop up on the authorising fee earner's desktop. The authorisation status of any transaction can be checked online.

Standard templates for common transaction types, codes and descriptions for ledger narratives, payee names, disbursement types and VAT codes keep the input required to a minimum.

Requisitions can be attached to diary steps when using  Case  or Matter Management  - whereupon conclusion of a step will initiate the requisition process.

Accounts users control the updating process and documentation including posting slips, laser cheques, remittance advice slips can be printed when required. Electronic output files (e.g. BACS) are automatically created and all activity is logged within the online audit files.

Automated processing is available for use with: cheque payments, BACS, TTs and Petty Cash, Client to Office, Client to Client and Client to Deposit and notification of Client and Bill receipts.

The single Norwel database ensures that fee earner requests are checked against previous actions and ledgers ensuring that the Law Society Accounting Rules are adhered to.
