Records Management

Records Management guarantees that you keep track of your matter files, deeds and wills at all times - from inception to destruction via storage.

Closed file movements – once a file has been archived and sent for storage any future file movements are maintained using this application. The single Norwel database ensures that file details are readily available so when a physical file is requested from store the only additional data entered is the date it was taken, by whom and subsequently the date it is returned. The current location of any file is therefore always known. Multiple physical files are catered for and destruction dates are held with a "files due for destruction" report provided.

Deeds and Wills information is maintained ensuring that pertinent data such as will types, executors and codicils are held alongside the matter file they relate to and with a record of any file movements. Details of deeds or wills are displayed on the Matter Management screens enabling fee earners to access the information directly whilst managing their cases. The single Norwel database ensures that any common information such as details of executors becomes available to other applications, for example, Client Contacts/Event Management (CRM).
