The Norwel Desktop provides the basic entry level for all users. The functionality contained here is designed to replace many of the time consuming manual practices which may be in place within your organisation. Facilities include time recording, case inception, database and ledger enquiries and inividual performance statistics. Triggers and warnings are also incorporated letting the user know when timesheets are missing and limits are exceeded. A powerful search engine ensures that any data is easily located reducing the possibility of duplication and enabling early identification of conflicts of interest. From this point additional functionality can be made available to provide wider and more comprehensive access.

A variety of time recording methods cater for all tastes and requirements. Online completion of timesheets makes certain that WIP is updated to the ledger without delay.
Fees Performance Statistics provide early target warnings to fee earners and access to relevant reports enables users to print directly to their local printer.
Our single database guarantees that fee earners can access both the data they input and data input using other Norwel applications.

Optional Prescient Modules:
- Matter Management - presents the fee earner with a complete electronic file with a bespoke ‘Home’ screen displaying a detailed summary of the current case.
- Workflow - When matter management is combined with workflow further facilities become available.
- Document Management - including version control, check-in check-out document locking, document comparison and free text searching.
